News from Little Hotels, Edition 1
Since launching Little Hotels in February, things have moved very fast for us, with lots of new hotels and lots of bookings. Therefore, we felt the need to re-organise our website to cope with both the present hotels and future growth.
www.littlehotelsofspain.co.uk has hotels in mainland Spain
www.littlehotels-balearics.co.uk has hotels on the islands of Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza
www.littlehotels.co.uk contains information that is common to all
The next stage in our development will be a new website covering little hotels in the Canaries.
How It All Began
Paul and I have been dedicated travellers to little hotels for many years. The special virtues of little hotels became most apparent to us about 12 years ago when we took our children on holiday to Andalucia staying a week at the Molino Del Santo, followed by a week in a large famous 4 star hotel in Marbella. Not only did the hotel in Marbella cost more than twice the week at Molino Del Santo, but the little hotel was much better, more personal and in a much more beautiful location. It was easy to get to know the staff, and chatting with the barman Diego one day, he told us about the Cat Cave. We took the hotel bikes down there and it was astonishing to find such a massive cave wide open with no commercial exploitation whatsoever. We were smitten.Weve stayed in little hotels ever since.

Without a doubt, small personal hotels are the future of tourism. It was interesting to see Susan DArcy, the luxury travel expert of the Sunday Times Travel Magazine say .the epitome of travel chic in keeping with the way we holiday now, is unintimidatingly small and private, low-key and organic ..A Super-Special Offer From Palacio De San Benito
