Welcome to 2010. This much-shorter-than-usual newsletter comes with just a single message: to announce the launch of our new website Little Hotels of France.
Little Hotels of France
It's been a long time in the planning stage but now the latest website in the Little Hotels family has become a reality: Little Hotels of France.
Notwithstanding our long-held (and undiminished) passion for Spain, there is always room for a bit of variety in one's holiday plans. France is the most visited holiday destination in the world so it is a natural choice. That's right; more people visit France than anywhere else on earth. More than Spain, more than the USA, more than anywhere. Why should this be? Well, because France has just about everything.
That master craftsman of the written word, Jeremy Clarkson, put it this way, "It
has the best weather in the world, the best scenery in the world and it's even
replete with funny-looking little locals who sit outside their houses in baggy
clothes. 
You could go to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon but what's the point? France has
canyons too. You could go to Russia for the culture, but why? The popes never
lived in Moscow. There are no Roman viaducts in St Petersburg. You are simply
wasting jet fuel." And he didn't even mention the beaches, the ski-ing,
the wine, the .......
Ten hotels are listed on Little Hotels of France so far. We have lots more in the pipeline and we are confident that many of those will impress us sufficiently to justify inclusion. So if you don't see just what you want at the moment, come back soon and it may be there.
