A Little News From Little Hotels

We’ve just sent out our latest Little Hotels newsletter. If you didn’t receive one, you can read it here.

Little Hotels

Busy, busy, busy! As ever, it all goes mad at Little Hotels Towers as soon as the New year begins. Lots of enquiries, lots of bookings: we’re seeing many old friends coming back to book their next holiday with us, as well as new people who are discovering for the first time.

New Hotels

Arrecife SandsWe start with two new properties on Lanzarote. “Stunning” really is the only word we can find to describe Casa Volcan, a split-level villa which looks like an interior design brochure. 6 bedrooms, private pool, sea view, even your own hybrid car. Or for a pristine, super-modern 3 bedroom apartment in a prime position, go for Arrecife Sands. Like the name suggests, it is right on the Playa Redacto beach in Arrecife.

Another new beach-side holiday spot is the Hotel La Caleta Bay, in the little town of La Herradura. It’s an elegantly modern hotel right on the edge of one of the most delightful bays in Spain. Part of one of the less well-known costas, La Herradura lacks for nothing yet is refreshingly undeveloped, or at least only lightly developed.

Posada La PastoraA quite different sort of holiday awaits if you choose the Posada La Pastora. It’s a fabulously atmospheric village guesthouse in the northern province of Aragon, not far from the Pyrenees. Chunky stone walls and wooden beams fill it with character. The friendly and enthusiastic owners will turn your stay into something really special.

The Olive Mill is a “Grown-ups only” micro-hotel deep in the countryside on the border of Alicante and Murcia, yet within a reasonable driving distance of the Costa Blanca. It has just two self-catering cottages so privacy, peace and a child-free-zone are really assured.

Special Offers

There are always lots of special offers and discounts to be found on Little Hotels, and they are all genuine offers: we don’t go in for “DFS Sale” sort of deals. Quite a lot of hotels now offer a “non-refundable rate”; that’s 100% payment on booking and no refund if cancelled. Well, you weren’t intending to cancel anyway were you? So it’s not that onerous and if the worst comes to the worst, you have your travel insurance.

Caserio de Mozaga on Lazarote offers 10 or 15% discounts for bookings made a reasonable distance in advance. Book before the end of March for the best deal.

We have “5 Nights for the Price of 4” and early booking discounts at Hotel Son Julia and Palacio Ca Sa Galesa in Majorca.

You can save 20% at Castell d’Emporda on the Costa Brava with their Early Booking Discount.

The list goes on and on, and offers change frequently. Watch out for the red Special Offer! labels on our pages.

Ten Ways To Blend-in In Catalonia

“Never order a large milky coffee ‘café con leche’/’café amb llet’ after lunch. This is considered pure madness. No Catalan in their right mind would do this. It’s for lunatics.”
A British Mum In Barcelona tells us what she’s learned..
