Reasons to visit Spain

Perhaps the greatest holiday destination on earth, Spain has sun, sea and sand in abundance. More than enough for everyone!

Of course everyone knows about the Mediterranean islands and costas, but don't forget the spectacular north coast of Spain culminating in the Galician rias, nor the Atlantic coast near Cadiz. Each place has it's own unique atmosphere.

There is also culture and history to boggle the imagination; from the magnificent Alhambra in Granada to the amazing Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Spain is liberally scattered with Roman ruins, Moorish castles and exciting architecture. There are museums and art galleries and some of the greatest examples of pre-historic cave paintings anywhere in Europe.

Inland too, there is so much beautiful and spectacular scenery. The Spanish mountains are a meccas for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders, with vistas extending beyond where the eye can see. Although Spain has the only desert in Europe, it also has forests and lakes, and all manner of wildlife.
