The Cathedral is a tastefully re-purposed old town house in the historic Casco Viejo of Las Palmas, providing a boutique B&B close to all the sights and sites in Las Palmas.
The history of the house is reflected in the feature stone walls that abound throughout, contrasting with glass partitions, plain white walls and exquisite mood lighting, to tell the story of it’s recent renovation. A few quirky bits of furniture display the designer’s playful mood.
Beautifully-presented breakfasts are served each day. Meanwhile the position in the historic heart of the city ensures a multiplicity of bars and restaurants for other occasions.
One guest room is on the ground floor for easy access. The others on the first and second floor are accessed from the tiny patio staircase. Each room combines modern essentials like television, air-conditioning, minibar and an attractive en-suite shower-room with a continuation of the design that flows throughout the house.
The position almost next door to Las Palmas’ cathedral of Santa Ana gives the hotel it’s name. The whole historic quarter, shops, squares, bars and cafes are all within easy reach.
Meals
A good day starts with a good breakfast. At The Cathedral, continental breakfast is tailored to the preference of the individual. Starting with tea, coffee and freshly-squeezed orange juice, we can find newly-baked bread and croissants with butter, jam and honey, a huge variety of cheeses and cold meats, all finished off by homemade muffins, cakes and biscuits.
With the city of Las Palmas on the doorstep, restaurant choices for dinner are almost endless.

| After reading everything about it, I arrived with certain expectations. These were not just completely satisfied, but were wholly and totally exceeded. |
Rooms are impeccably clean and everything you could need is provided. You can walk everywhere easily and there are some fantastic restaurants just around the corner. We were so happy to be met by a lovely lady who gave us a glass of Cava. She was so kind and very happy to give us information. We left early on Sunday morning and she even made us a breakfast to take to the airport. We will definitely be back to stay. Thank you very much for a wonderful visit. |
| Tastefully upgraded older property in the heart of the old town but quiet and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. |
