Surrounded by gardens and mountain landscapes, Hotel Rural Finca Salamanca is a former manor house with an award-winning restaurant, located in the rural setting of the Güimar Valley. The extensive gardens feature lawns, a swimming pool with sun-bathing terrace and plenty of little spots to be on your won.

Indoors there’s a comfortable Canarian-style lounge featuring exposed stone walls and local wooden furniture, plus a separate room for playing board games. The restaurant is famous on the island, and is open every day for breakfast and dinner.

The 20 guest rooms have a warm, distinctive style and range in size from specious to more-than-generous. Most rooms have a terrace or balcony with views of the garden, the Güimar valley or the mountains leading up to Mount Teide. Facilities include air-conditioning, a minibar, a safe, television, telephone and an en-suite bathroom. The larger rooms have a sitting area or sitting room with a sofa. Finca Salamanca is situated just outside the village of Güimar, a couple of kilometres inland from the beach at Puertito de Güimar (“Güimar’s little port”). On the inland side the land rises rapidly to the Corona Forest Park and the Teide National Park topped by Mount Teide (snow-capped in winter).
