Villa Palacio

Villa Palacio is a private luxury villa set on the mountain side of Tabayesco with uninterrupted views out to sea. The Palacio Estate comprises itself of three separate accommodations, in one. The villa itself consists of 6 bedrooms making it an ideal luxury break for a large family. Add in any of the 3 yurts or the yurts plus garden room and that becomes a grand total of 10 bedrooms. The yurts or yurts plus garden room can also be booked separately for a couple, family or small group. Situated on the outskirts of the tranquil village of Tabayesco, just minutes away from Arrieta with its fabulous golden sand beach known as ‘Arrieta Bay’, this strikingly modern villa offers breath-taking panoramic views of the coastline and the Atlantic Ocean.

With its open plan interior design and attention to fine detail this is a property that really stands out. Villa Palacio is nothing short of spectacular. With its sea, pool and garden views from almost every angle on ground floor you may normally only see this in magazines. The entrance leads to the heart of every home, the kitchen. The vast open plan seating area and striking views out to sea make this a great space for getting together with family and friends. Next comes the raised lounge area which overlooks the lower dining area with more amazing views down to the pool and ocean. On the same level there are two stylishly decorated bedrooms complete with king size beds and en-suite bathrooms.

You rise to the next level via an impressive sweeping staircase with LED mood-lighting  and there are two further beautiful bedrooms, the first with a king size bed and a private terrace. The second has twin beds with a marble style bath where you can have a relaxing soak and enjoy the sea views. Both these bedrooms share a walk-in shower room with double wash hand basins and W.C. Continuing up the grand staircase you reach the fifth bedroom again with twin beds, free standing marble-style bath, double wash hand basins and separate W.C. This south facing bedroom has sliding doors to a large terrace and shaded Balinese thatched day bed.

The luxurious master bedroom is on the upper level, having a contemporary influence of natural materials which come together to create a unique bedroom with fantastic views of the volcanic landscape and the sea. This spacious suite is equipped with a super-king-size bed and free-standing stone bath. There is a separate walk-in shower room, including double wash hand basins, bidet and W.C.

The large and spacious outdoor living areas provide lots of space for groups to enjoy time together and equally to withdraw and relax privately. The solar heated swimming pool (4 x 10 m) is big enough for some serious lengths, or just allowing everyone to play together. For fun and games there is an outdoor pool table, ping-pong table and shaded terrace area.  There are so many lovely places in the mature gardens including a chill-out area with thatched gazebo and day bed and plenty of wooden deck area to relax.

The Palacio Yurt area is close-by but entirely separate on the lower level of the grounds. It contains the luxurious 6m yurt and a second garden bedroom. The yurt itself is uniquely styled, featuring a red felt interior, polished concrete flooring, super-king-size double bed, seating area with sofa and handpicked Indonesian furniture. A central skylight allows ventilation as well as romantic star-gazing. This private yurt has its own walk-in shower room with stone wash basin and a separate W.C with a further stone wash basin. These are nestled behind the yurt and fashioned from local volcanic stone. Alongside is the al-fresco living area with a fully fitted-out kitchen with granite worktops and breakfast bar, just perfect for a self catering holiday. Like everywhere at Villa Palacio there is space to relax and views to enjoy. The yurts have yjeir own private solar-heated plunge pool with spa jets, set in a fenced and gated area with shaded gazebo and double day bed. The second bedroom, the garden room, is open plan with a double bed, sea views, en-suite shower and W.C. As ever,  stunning sea views and a terrace area come as standard.

Moving on up to the next level via an impressive sweeping staircase with LED mood-lighting there are two further bedrooms one with king size bed and views on its private terrace, a built-in wardrobe and hand basins. The second bedroom has twin beds with a marble-style bath where you can soak away and enjoy the sea views. Both these bedrooms share a walk-in shower room with double basins and W.C. Continuing up the sweeping staircase you enter the fifth bedroom with twin beds, built in wardrobe, free standing marble-style bath, double hand basins and separate W.C. This south facing bedroom has sliding doors to its large terrace and shaded Balinese thatched day bed, a perfect place to take in a glorious sunset.

With its rugged volcanic landscapes and fantastic coastal views this bedroom is the ‘Master’ of masters. This spacious suite is equipped with a Super king-size bed and free-standing stone bath perfect for having a relaxing soak while admiring the sea views. The suite has a separate walk-in shower room, including double hand basins, bidet and W.C.

The large and spacious outdoor living areas provide lots of space for groups to enjoy time together and at the same time many options to escape and relax privately.

Close to the solar heated swimming pool there is an outdoor pool table, ping-pong table and shaded terrace area. Then there are the mature gardens and dining in the gazebo on warm summer evenings. The chill out area has athatched gazebo and day bed with plenty of decking to relax.

• Guests with children should be aware that the pool is easily accessible from the terrace so please be aware of the safety of children and non-swimmers. Please ask for more information if considering booking with a young child.
• There is a surcharge of €160 for booking less than 7 nights. The price per night is based on up to 6 guests. There is an extra charge of €35 per person per night for additional guest.

Fantastic, luxury yurt with sea views and private fenced and gated plunge pool with shaded daybed, sun loungers and solar shower. Palacio Yurt is a genuine 6 metre Mongolian yurt complete with super king-size double bed, seating area with sofa and handpicked furniture. The polished floor and traditional two-skin cover keep the yurt draft-free and ensure a constant ambient temperature. A central skylight allows ventilation as well as romantic star-gazing.

There is a walk-in shower room with stone wash basin and a separate W.C with a further stone wash basin. These are nestled behind the yurt and fashioned from local volcanic stone. Alongside is the al fresco living area, fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops and wooden breakfast bar.

The yurt has a private garden and terrace, complete with sun-loungers, barbecue and outdoor furniture. Carry on down the stepping stones to the private solar heated plunge pool with spa jets, set in a fenced and gated area with shaded gazebo and double day bed.

• The price per night is based on up to 2 guests sharing the Palacio Yurt. It is possible to add up to 2 x z-bed’s / travel cot. There is a charge of €15 per night for an extra guest.

Put everything together at Villa Palacio and you have a fabulous holiday for up to 20 people, with the main villa the Palacio Yurt and the garden room all at your disposal. That's a total of 8 bedrooms, two pools, two gazebos, a jacuzzi, and terraces and chill-out corners everywhere.

The size of Palacio means we often prefer staff to be on the grounds as extra support for your event, group or family celebration. Our manager has a staff apartment with separate entrance and will be based there from time to time, unobtrusive but close by, ensuring your Palacio stay is exactly as it should be… luxurious perfection!
