The 19th-century chateau and the 18th-century manor house at Château de Locguénolé stand side-by-side, surrounded by nearly 300 acres of wooded parkland. a lush green lawn slopes gently down to the river, where the hotel's private jetty stands. From here you could take a boat the short distance down to the sea, perhaps to the visit the islands and bay of Morbihan.

The huge grounds along the banks of the River Blavet create infinite possibilities for walks. Meanwhile the orientation of the hotel, it's lawns and terraces provide spectacular sunsets. There's plenty of room for the heated swimming pool and tennis court, follow the jogging course or the walking trails, or hire a bike to venture a bit further.

Stylish furnishings in an authentic French chateau setting give a spectacularly luxurious ambience with carved woodwork, panelling, parquet and granite floors, ... the list goes on! The lounges and restaurant evoke a grand style of French country house living. Meanwhile the rooms and suites are large and equally well-appointed in period style, not forgetting the modern touches that make life sweeter and more comfortable. Even the classic rooms are 16-25m2, rising to as much as 45m2 in some of the junior suites and suites. All this, along with free wi-fi, flatscreen television, safe, minibar, luxury bathroom (with a jacuzzi bath in some).

Perfectly situated by the coast, in the heart of south Brittany, Locguénolé benefits from an ideal location for visiting the major sites in the region. Hennebont, Port-Louis and Lorient are just a few miles away. There's the pier from which you can take a trip to the Isle Groix. A little further and you can visit the megaliths at Carnac or explore the wild coast at Quiberon or bays of the shallow Gulf of Morbihan.
