In the heart of the Roussillon between sea and mountains, Le Mas Latour Lavail is a fabulous country guest house created from a 16th century Catalan mas (a large farmhouse) on the Cazes wine estate.

Pride of place on the ground floor goes to the huge open-plan living area where the natural rusticity of the old building has been harnessed to provide a living room of immense character. The bar, lounge and breakfast area are all here, with room to spare. A breakfast of fresh seasonal products (mostly local) is served each morning.

Sheltered all around by trees, the garden, and most especially the swimming pool, are great places to relax. The pool is a monument of style far removed from the typical turquoise rectangle. Truly a pleasure.

The spa at Le Mas Latour Lavail has been created most stylishly from the old wine press and wine vats. Here you will find a fitness room, a jacuzzi and a hammam.

The guest accommodation comprises three double rooms and two suites, all following the same elegant style of rustic modernity as the rest of the hotel. The double rooms are impressively large and the suites even larger, typically constructed on two levels. They include en-suite shower rooms, hardwood or parquet floors, a flatscreen television, air-conditioning, a safe, hairdryer and much more besides.

The Mas is ideally situated, close to Perpignan, the Mediterranean coast and the Pyrenees mountains. The Cazes winery is just 5 minutes away and it’s 10 minutes to the beach at Canet-en-Roussillon.
