Nestled in a lush setting just a few hundred metres from the small bay at La Redonne, La Palmeraie des Calanques offers five luxury guestrooms, included a family suite for 4 people. The garden is filled with palm and pine trees, Polynesian-style thatched huts, agaves, bear grass, prickly pear and other plants to create a verdant oasis. There’s a swimming pool, a terrace that includes a solarium and an area dedicated to Ayurvedic and Thai massages.

"Le Petit Méjean" with its comfortable Wengé wooden furniture, is equipped with sofas, bookshelves and a wide meeting table with cosy chairs. There’s Wi-Fi internet access if you need it.

Continental breakfast is served between 8.00 am and 10.00 am. Its includes hot drinks (coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate) fruit juices, toast, pastries, seasonal fruits and a Chef's surprise. In summer it’s possible to enjoy breakfast in the garden, by the pool, in the Andalusian Patio, on the lawn, on the terrace … the choice is yours. In cooler weather, there’s plenty of room inside.

The four double rooms and the suite are all on the ground floor in perfect seclusion, with parking and a private terrace. They border the "Domaine de la Côte Bleue" park and have a magnificent view of the pine forest. The suite also has it’s own small garden. The double rooms are about 25m² and the suite twice that. They feature a large double bed, a sitting area, Italian-style bathroom, television, internet, reversible air-conditioning, a safe, a minibar and a kettle. Extra accommodation in the suite is provided by two single beds.

The position of La Palmeraie offers so many opportunities. The sea is within walking distance, or a short drive if you want to visit other beaches and coves. The Domaine de la Côte Bleue park is also on the doorstep; great for walkers. Marseille is just across the bay, and the Camargue is not far in the opposite direction. Obviously the nearby sea is ideal for swimming , snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing and wind-surfing. Boat trips, coastal flights, sky-diving and dolphin-watching are all available nearby.
