Austons Down is a fine modern country house in rolling farmland with splendid views of the Vale of Arden. Austons Down Farm has rare-breed Jacob sheep, horses, and chickens in the surrounding pasture. Guests can enjoy beautiful walks, right from the doorstep.
This comfortable family home has an elegant, light-filled sitting room complete with antiques, fabulous marquetry and open fire, providing B&B for just three couples. The owners are very friendly, and make excellent hosts.
The bedrooms are clean and fresh in a modern traditional style, with a sitting area, a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. The immaculate en-suite bath or shower rooms include complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer.
In the mornings Austons Down serves full English breakfast and Eggs Benedict. Dishes are prepared using locally-sourced produce, alongside a selection of cereals, juice, toast, and preserves.
There is so much to do in the area. Stratford Upon Avon is a 20 minute drive away. The great historic castles at Warwick and Kenilworth are just a short drive too. Add in the nearby classic car museum and the historic town of Warwick and there's something to keep visitors occupied for days.
