Everyone loves Halsons, that's clear from the reviews, so they must be doing something right. Kay and Julian welcome you to their fabulous little Bed and Breakfast, located in Morcombelake, a small village close to the Jurassic coastline, between the market town of Bridport and the seaside town of Lyme Regis. Surrounded by countryside, all the rooms look out on to picturesque landscapes ideal for a relaxing stay.

Although it's easily accessible from the A35, Halsons Bed and Breakfast is tucked away down a small lane, so you instantly feel the peace and quiet. There's a south-facing terrace and lawn in front of the house with tables and chairs for sitting out. You might even choose to have your breakfast there on a sunny morning. French doors connect both the breakfast room and the guest lounge to the terrace. Both are really spacious and the lounge makes an ideal place to relax, perhaps with the log-burning stove going in winter.

There are just three guest bedrooms, two with king-size beds and one with twin beds. They are fresh and bright and have modern en-suite shower rooms with walk -n showers. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and each room has a TV with Freeview. Wi-fi is available and there is on-site parking for guests.

Halsons is an ideal location for exploring the Jurassic Coast. There are so many iconic places to visit: Lyme Regis, Bridport, Chesil Beach, Weymouth, Portland Bill.
