Lincoln House Private Hotel.
118-120 Cathedral Road, Cardiff.
It's hard to imagine why anyone would stay in one of those soul-less chain hotels in Cardiff when they could be staying at the Lincoln House. This lovely little hotel in a Victorian townhouse has consistently topped the Trip Advisor ratings in Cardiff. Set in a leafy street of similar houses, Lincoln House Hotel is only a short walk from the city centre, providing affordable luxury whether you are visiting for business or pleasure.
There is a beautifully decorated resident's lounge and a private bar where you can unwind with a drink and a snack. Although primarily a bed-and-breakfast the hotel has an arrangement with many nearby restaurants and can even arrange for your dinner to be brought to you in the dining room.
The guest rooms are tastefully decorated with original Victorian design details and they include an en-suite bathroom, wifi, television and radio, hair dryer and tea and coffee-making. Most rooms have double beds but twin beds are also available, or for a really special visit there is one room with a large, plush four-poster.
