Poole Farm.
St Giles on the Heath, Launceston, Devon.
Nestled on the border of Devon and Cornwall, Poole farm is a place of adults-only peace and tranquillity. Poole Farm is proud to offer it's guests the very best Westcountry hospitality, top quality breakfasts with local ingredients and an attention to detail which is second to none.
Dating back to 1892, Poole Farm is adjacent to the River Tamar and only 15 miles from both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Set alongside a narrow Devonshire road, the farm is surrounded by fields so the only disturbance is likely to be a passing tractor or the odd noisy sheep. Guests can enjoy scenic walks or cycle rides direct from the front door, or a short drive in any direction will bring them to a new delight.
With views over the countryside, the rooms feature antique furniture and artwork. Each includes a king-size bed (or twin beds), a TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite bathrooms have complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, and a drench shower. For relaxation, there is a cosy guest lounge or the opportunity to sit out in the garden to watch the world go (slowly) by.
