Location! Location! Location! If it’s location that counts, The Boathouse is a winner. Set in 11 acres of beautiful parkland on the shore of enchanting Ormesby Broad, its a spectacular modern country pub and little hotel.

There’s a friendly welcome at the most beautiful romantic views, so we can just let the photos speak for themselves.

The Boathouse pub and restaurant has intimate dining areas as well as areas for larger groups. The interior is finished to the highest standard using natural finishes with subtle lighting for a warm ambiance. Inside is a long bar with several large bay windows offering lovely views of the broads. Exposed brickwork, two open fireplaces, pine floorboards and oak beams complete the scene. The light and airy main restaurant has a wonderful vaulted ceiling and offers a contemporary dining space with classic touches. Meals are tasty, substantial and prepared to order; and superb value for money. Breakfast is served daily for residents but the remainder of the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

The Boathouse offers five bedrooms on the first floor of the original Eel’s Foot pub and an attic room on the second floor. They are all individually decorated and styled as boutique hideaways. One room even stretches over two floors and has fabulous views of the Broads. All have contemporary bathrooms, king-sized beds (apart from Room two which has a double bed) and those extra special touches to make your stay perfect.

The position of The Boathouse on Ormesby Broad makes it an ideal location for exploring the spectacular Norfolk Broads, Norfolk coastline and it’s within easy access of the city of Norwich and the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth.
