Westbrook Country House is and elegant Georgian mansion that is freshly opened as a boutique B&B for adults only. On the road from Castlebar to Westport, the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the stunning West of Ireland Wild Atlantic Way, cycle the Greenway, sail on Clew Bay, climb Croagh Patrick, visit Knock Shrine or the National Museum of Country Life, or catch a show in the Castlebar Theatre Royal.

Curl up in a leather armchair in front of a roaring fire with a first edition or your favourite novel in the library, climb in under crisp white linen sheets on one of the sumptuous beds or sink into a bubbling spa bath with your favourite music and a  glass of wine, you'll always be comfortable and at home. The decor is always fabulous, with generous yards of tumbling fabrics in the drapes and curtains, lots of French influence in the furniture but a few more eclectic things too, like touches of art deco for instance.

 Breakfast is served from 7a.m.to 10a.m. in the charming private dining room. The full & hearty traditional Irish breakfast incorporates the best the Gourmet Greenway has to offer. You’ll find juices are freshly squeezed, and preserves and delicious bakery items are made in-house by the pastry chef at a nearby sister hotel. For those looking for a lighter alternative, there is a range of healthy low-fat, low-carb breakfast  offerings. Tea and coffee are available 24/7 in the upstairs sitting room where there is also a flatscreen television for guests.
