The exuberant colours of the rooms at Dream Station make this a B&B to remember. Yet they in no way detract from any other part of the experience. Dream Station is an economical Bed and Breakfast right in the heart of Rome, making it a perfect base for exploring the Eternal City.

The seven guest bedrooms accommodate 2, 3 or even 4 people and the bigger ones all have a sofa bed so there is sitting room as well as sleeping room. There’s no skimping on facilities so you get comfy beds, hardwood floors, a flatscreen TV, Wi-fi, air-conditioning, a USB wall plug, a safe and the en-suite bathroom provides a stylish shower cubicle, a hairdryer, towels and toiletries.

A full Italian breakfast is available 24 hours per day in the two fully-equipped kitchens. Pick from cereals, fruit juices, tea, coffee, various breads, croissants, preserves and seasonal fresh fruit. The kitchens are open and available to guests all day and night for preparation of meals and snacks. It is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans and cooking utensils. There is a common refrigerator in which you can store your food, dishwasher, microwave and a toaster.

Dream Station is ideally located beside Rome’s Central Station so there is ready access to trains, buses, the metro and easy transport to and from the airport. Within just 1km of the B&B there is the Colosseum, the San Lorenzo district (for nightlife), the Baths of Diocletian, the Roman Forum and the Santa Maria Maggiore basilica. Other unmissable sights like the Pantheon, the Vatican, Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain are little further, or a short bus ride away if you’re feeling lazy.
