B&B Mondello Design is housed in a Liberty Villa in the most exclusive part of Mondello, restored with passion, dedication and high standard of quality because the owners have a conviction that every guest merits quality services, attention to detail and a friendly smile. Mondello Design is set back 100 metres or so from the long curving beach at Mondello, set in a garden perfumed by Sicilian jasmine, magnolia and zagara. Breakfast is served on the terrace. Freshly squeezed orange juice, strong and fragrant Italian espresso, foamy cappuccino, homemade cakes, flaky croissants and fresh fruit will put a spring in your step at the start of your day. Later, the terrace is a lovely place for relaxation: an ideal spot to read a book or listen to music.

Two double rooms, two junior suites and the garden suite make up the guest accommodation, all styled with the utmost elegance. They all come with a terrace, air-conditioning, satellite television, wi-fi and minibar and many more luxuries besides. The junior suites are a huge 36 square metres, big, bright and comfortable. The beds appear to float on air thanks to their tempered glass legs. Usual accommodation is for two, but can be extended to four by the use of the double sofa-bed. Bigger still is the garden suite on the ground floor. It’s a mini-apartment of 50sqm with it’s own kitchenette. The terrace is generous and gives room to relax or dine beneath an olive tree.

Guests have free use of bicycles for exploring the picturesque streets and local markets of Mondello. Or for the more energetic the bikes can take you on a tour through the Capo Gallo nature reserve. Alternatively hop aboard the B&B’s own yacht to be transported along the coast with visits to Sferracavallo, Isola dell Femmine or the spectacular Grotta dell’Olio.
