You’ve heard of the trulli, perhaps you’ve seen them, but now you can stay in one. Masseria Nuove Caselle is located in the heart of the Itria Valley, midway between the Adriatic and Ionian coasts.

Derived from ancient trulli, the typical conical structures formerly used as barns and stables, the B&B accommodation of Nuove Caselle features modern comforts within the primal elements of a working farm. Thoroughly reformed with a strict respect for the original structure, finished in local lime and stone, the rooms have a unique ambience. Cool in summer and warm in winter, every trullo has a terrace and a private bathroom, satellite TV and a wifi internet connection.

Visitors to Masseria Nuove Caselle stay in one of three trulli. Saturno is a wide and elegant trullo that can accommodate up to three people. It has a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, and an independent terrace with relaxation corner overlooking a garden of beautiful olive trees. Trulli are put together in Sole to make a suite that can accommodate up to five people. Particularly suitable for families and friends who want to share the experience of sleeping under the beautiful cones of our trulli. Once again there is a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, two independent terraces surrounded by olive trees, wi-fi and flat screen television. Giove is the trullo for romantic couples, with the same features as the others plus a direct access to the adjoining pine grove.

Masseria Nuove Caselle is a fundamental part of the farming environment of the area. There is the little manor house, the trulli, the farmyard with carved stone troughs and drystone walls spreading out in every direction. It is surrounded by nature, with countless tracks and trails winding through over thirty hectares of woodland, between Mediterranean scrub, olive and oak trees, in a fascinating mix of colours and smells. The little pine grove is a great place to sit and relax. There is also an opportunity to visit the adjacent dairy where they produce typical delicacies of this part of Puglia: mozzarella, burrate and much more besides.

The central location makes this a great touring base, extending through Fasano, Alberobello, Ostuni, Cisternino, the Caves of Castellana, the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian, and much more. For cyclists, right nearby is the Ciclovia dell’Acqua which traces the the path of the Acquedotto Pugliese through breathtaking landscapes.
