One of Seville's most elegant classical townhouses is La Bella Sevilla (formerly Hotel Alminar). Now a beautiful boutique hotel, it was once the headquarters of a leading manufacturer of hand-made silk shawls and flamenco dresses. The team at La Bella have worked hard to create an environment of calm in a quiet pedestrian street in the very heart of Seville. It is just 50 metres from the cathedral and the Giralda, the soaring spire sometimes known by it's old moorish name of Al Minar.
The bedrooms are spacious and modern, and elegantly decorated to provide a cool, calm base for your stay in Seville. It's so peaceful that it's hard to believe that you are right in the centre of a major city. Naturally they are comprehensively equipped with full bathroom, satellite television, telephone, internet access, mini-bar, and individual air conditioning and heating. The two Superior rooms on the top floor even benefit from a small rooftop terrace with views of the cathedral and La Giralda. And for disabled guests, the whole hotel has been designed for easy access and one room is specially adapted for a wheelchair user.
The Sevillian patio at the centre of the building has been carefully restored and retiled with tiles which exactly match the originals. Today this is the place to enjoy the continental breakfast, or just to pop in for a tea or coffee, and to meet up with friends.
We have known Francisco the manager for a very long time and he's undoubtedly a major asset. He has surrounded himself with a small staff who have a unique knowledge of their city and are more than pleased to help their guests to get the absolute maximum from their stay in Seville. Without a doubt, this hotel is so much more than just a building.

Superior Double Room
Two of the Superior Rooms are on the top floor of the building with a terrace and a view to the Cathedral and La Giralda. The third one is situated on the second floor so has no terrace but it is the hotel's biggest room with 3 balconies and a view to La Giralda. All three have a full en-suite bathroom with hair-dryer, air-condition/heating, flatscreen TV with international channels and a minibar.
Double Room
Spacious, comfortable double rooms of approximately 20m2. Totally equipped with private bathroom with hair-dryer, balcony (except one on the ground floor, which is adapted for clients with reduced mobility), air-condition/heating, flatscreen TV with international channels and a minibar.
Single Room
Slightly smaller rooms for single stays with prívate bathroom with shower. Fully equipped with balcony, air-condition/heating, flatscreen TV with international channels and a minibar.
Meals
Just breakfast is available, but don't despair, there are scores of restaurants in the surrounding streets. What's more, breakfast is an ample buffet with cold meats and cheeses, yoghourts, cereals, fresh fruit and cakes, plus toasts, croissants and orange juice (and coffee, tea, etc of course).

The hotel was in a great location less than a minutes walk from the Cathedral. The room with a terrace was ideal with a great view of the bell tower. It was very clean with a comfortable bed and shower room. The staff were very professional, attentive and helpful.
