A tremendous effort went into the project of converting this 5 storey 19th century building set on the line of the old Arab city wall into a brand new luxury boutique hotel close to the heart of Palma.
One of its special features is the rooftop terrace with views right out across Palma Bay. There is also a terrace and gastro-bar on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is the large lobby which serves as the hotel lounge and foyer, complete with internet corner.
Guests have the option of Deluxe double rooms, Junior Suites or the Calatrava Suite, right at the top of the house with the most stunning views. The room facilities are right up-to-date and include a large 3D television and Blue-ray player, as well as room service, a choice of pillows and all the usual "essentials". One of the Junior Suites is specially adapted for disabled guests.
The Spa Calatrava offers a special atmosphere that invites relaxation and well-being. There is a Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi, contrast shower with aromatherapy, relaxation area with heated loungers, rooms for massage and treatments and private yoga and pilates classes.
The position is just perfect, close to the city centre, the old town, the marina and the sea.
Junior Suite
Each room has been uniquely and exclusively decorated with fresh and contemporary style combined with some antique furniture that is enhanced by the natural light coming through its large windows, which offer a wonderful view of the bay of Palma. All rooms have a small lounge with sea views. Spacious and modern bathrooms with shower and bathtub. There are 4 rooms between 45 and 60 m2.
Meals
The breakfast room is located on the fifth floor, where breakfasting guests can enjoy the morning air and the views over Palma Bay. Choose from the buffet breakfast or a-la-carte.
The gastro-bar on the ground floor serves a huge range of dishes right through from mid-day to nearly mid-night. The emphasis is on light, quality dishes using a maximum of local produce and sea-food.

| The hotel is ideally situated for walks on the sea front and into the old town. Although a smallish hotel staff they were very professional and on hand 24 hours. Lovely breakfast terrace and really rather good tapas restaurant with full bar as well. Decent sized spa facility for couples as well. And the comfiest beds in Christendom. Real find. |

| It's a simple building but very elegantly decorated. The breakfast is the best, and the terrace where it is served is a dream. We stayed in a suite, which I think was the best room in the hotel. It was enormous and had an immense window with views of the sea. I have never stayed in a better room in my life. All round it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, with a brilliant location and fantastic staff. |
