Hotel Can Cera was a wholly new hotel when it opened in Palma. “New” is not the full story though because this is a building with over 700 years of history. It has been changed, added to, reformed and redecorated over the centuries until its most recent conversion into a luxury hotel. This time the works have concentrated on blending the best features of those centuries of change with the needs of modern travellers, to create a hotel of distinction.

Can Cera is located within the walls of the old city of Palma, close to the cathedral, where history abounds but modern traffic is sparse. There are twelve guest rooms, each one individually decorated in a consistent style with antique furniture, contemporary paintings and a warmth of character that charms the visitor. Modern comforts can be taken for granted and there is even a complimentary minibar.

Beyond one’s room the hotel offers so much space and facilities for its guests. The Red Salon has comfortable chairs and sofas and antique furnishings ideal for relaxing before or after dinner. The Golden Salon provides more of the same, along with some impressive bookcases. The Library is a light, bright room perfect for reading, naturally. Or for more modern entertainment there is the TV lounge on the top floor, with large windows overlooking the main patio.

Guests seeking an outdoor space will find the terrace at the top of the hotel, with views over the roof tops of the old town. Others will appreciate the spa with sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, yoga, massage, and more besides.

Double Room

Each room has been uniquely decorated with Mallorcan style furniture. All have king-size bed or twin beds, with spacious and modern bathrooms with shower and/or bathtub. There are 6 rooms each between 28 and 37 m².

Each room has been uniquely and exclusively decorated with Mallorca style furniture that is enhanced with natural light from the large windows. All have king-size bed or twin beds, with spacious and modern shower and bathtub. There are 5 rooms each between 40 and 45 m².

Can Cera Suite

This majestic room is a feast for the senses. The canopied Majorcan bed is the jewel at the centre of this room. There is a dressing room and a private terrace with tiles painted by La Roqueta. This suite was the main room of the house when it was a private residence. Spacious and modern bathroom with shower and bathtub.
The room is 60m² in area with a terrace of 15 m².
