Can Isabel is a romantic little town house built in the 19th century in the centre of the village of Soller. On the outside it is a quaint old building blending seamlessly into its surroundings in the old quarter of Soller. It sits near the famous old train station where the narrow-gauge railway trundles quietly down to Palma.
Inside, the house has been restored to provide a romantic little spot in the centre of the picturesque village, just about 100m from the shady, leafy main square. Owners Sebastien and Colette provide a very warm welcome to their guests with a service that is attentive yet homely. There is a comfortable lounge with comfy sofas and a small area for dining. Outside, the patio and garden make a great place for breakfast in summer, or an evening aperitif. The décor is elegant, with chandeliers, classical furniture and sumptuous use of fabrics.
Naturally in such a house, each of the bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms are entirely individual. For space and views, choose the Terrace Room, or for a romantic stay with your loved-one, Romantica has a delightful rolled-edge cast iron bath that is big enough for two. All rooms are provided with air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar and internet access. The quality bed linen comes from prestigious names like Pierre Frey and Descamps.
Soller provides a great base for a holiday in the quiet part of Mallorca, with the Tramuntana mountains being a paradise for walkers, the sea is just 2.5km away, reached on the charming little tram that runs down to Port de Soller, and there are other delightful villages to explore like Deya (Deia), Valldemossa and Banyalbufar.

Reviews
Reviews from Little Hotels Travellers:
We were so pleased with our stay in Soller.
We stay at Can Isabel in Soller and we enjoyed it so much.
The hotel managers were very nice and helpful. Absolutely charming.
We had a wonderful breakfast every morning and our room was very comfortable.
PS we certainly will book our hotel reservation through little hotels for our next vacation. |
Had a great time in both hotels we stayed at, lovely people, couldn't do enough for us.
Bit of a problem in Soller with parking, could have done with a bit more help from the owner, who passed it on to her people (who couldn't speak English), all got a bit stressful, but sorted in the end.
Both hotels clean and comfortable and unique, just what we wanted.
Would certainly recommend 'Little Hotels' and actually already have.
Thanks, will definitely use you again. |
Just to let you know that we had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel in Soller. We stayed in Blanca, one of the Terrace Rooms, and thought it was absolutely charming - beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and well situated. Breakfast was delicious and Maria and her husband, Constantin, are the best of hosts. I can't commend them highly enough.
Only negative comment is that it might be helpful to provide a little more advance information regarding availability, cost and location of parking facilities although, in practice in the end, we managed to find a street space approx 6 mins walk away (on the same street) and it wasn't as big a problem as we first thought it might be. |
We recently returned from our holiday in Soller, Majorca where we stayed at the delightful Can Isabel Hotel. It is such a peaceful hotel, with the scent of Jasmine filling the air. Our room was just perfect and kept spotlessly clean. We would like to say a special thank you to Humberto. He cooked and served to us in the garden the most delicious breakfasts and looked after us so well. He made us feel so welcome and worked very hard to make our stay perfect.

We Say
From the outside, you could easily miss Can Isabel. Once inside, you will never forget it. Romantic and comfortable, in one.
A Word from the Owner
"We bought the house in 2002, and restored it keeping all the old elements that we could. We wanted to keep the romantic spirit the house. It’s a very lovely hideaway in a charming village."
