Boutique Hotel Can Pico is an authentically restored Catalan farmhouse that dates back to 1665. Tucked away in a quiet little corner of Alt Emporda, it is only 4 km away from the beaches of the Bay of Rosas on the Costa Brava. The cleanly traditional exterior of Can Pico gives way to reveal a freshly modern interior; truly the best of both worlds.

There is a large swimming pool with solar-heating and a decked terrace surround. All around the pool there is plenty of lawned garden for sunbathing. The grounds of the hotel also include a car park providing free parking for guests. Beyond the hotel, guests are free to take a walk in the nearby vineyard and olive grove.

Breakfasts are served in the lounge area, or out on the terrace. A special feature of Can Pico is the bodega where guests can discover the richness of Spanish wine culture. Wine tastings can be arranged on request.

All rooms follow the same decorative themes, but differ in sizes and shapes according to the layout of the original house. They are all equipped with air conditioning, free wifi, safe, minibar and satelite TV.

The Costa Brava (literally "the wild coast") is generously endowed with sandy beaches and rocky coves, and it's not difficult to get well away from the package holiday areas. Then as well as the beaches and sea that we all love so much, the Alt Emporda offers countryside and mountains as well. There is a wealth of history, with castles, churches and villages to explore.

Standard

Room with king size bed and en-suite bathroom. All rooms are decorated the same way, but differ in sizes and shapes as the original layout of rooms was kept. All are equipped with an air conditioning system, free wifi, safe, minibar and satelite TV.

Superior

Larger rooms with super king size bed and a sofa. Two rooms are on the second floor of the original building with windows onto the inner terrace and onto the garden and swimming pool. Five brand new rooms for 2019 are in a new building. These rooms have a clean modern design and have their own balconies.
