Casa Roja is a lovingly-restored old village house in the centre of Prades just a few metres from the Plaza Mayor, the nerve-centre of the village. Set on a narrow cobbled street it provides charming and comfortable holiday accommodation for up to 8 people.

There are modern facilities in abundance, creatively combined with exposed stone and brick walls and other period features to build a fabulous little pied-a-terre in the country inland from Tarragona. The ground floor has a fully-equipped kitchen along with a dining table and a generous sofa facing a television. On the first floor are the three bedrooms (one double and two twin) and the two bathrooms. Then at the top of the house is a big attic room with a sofa bed and television. Of course there is air-conditioning and wi-fi throughout.

 The Muntanyes de Prades area is blessed with many things to see and do. There's walking and hiking of course, with routes starting right in Prades. The astronomical park is a fabulous place for viewing the wonders of the universe, or take in the rocky wonders of Planet Earth in the Font Major caves or at the Foradada Rock. The Cistercian route will take you past monasteries and hermitages and the mediaeval village of Montblanc. Or follow the Priorat wine route taking in wineries, bodegas and the beautiful village of Siurana.
