Hotel Boutique Casa Veracruz

Casa Veracruz is a small boutique hotel made up of a group of historic buildings which have been fully restored and are located on one of the most emblematic streets of the Estepona old town. It is just a short distance away from bars, restaurants, and all kinds of shops. Rada beach, awarded the highest level of Blue Flag status is only 300m away, as is the Estepona promenade, which stretches the length of the town. The Orchidarium, the largest botanical garden in Europe, is only 250m away and the Estepona Port and museums are all within easy reach.

The hotel is furnished throughout with luxury furniture and pristine details. The salon is a special stand-out feature with gorgeous fabrics and statues and an elaborate cornice. There's a further lovely place to sit and relax in the typical Andalucian patio where the peace is interrupted by nothing more than the burbling water of the fountain.

The self-service cafeteria is open to guests 24 hours a day for a variety of snacks and drinks.

The guest rooms all face outward apart from two which are directed in to the patio. Several of them have a balcony overlooking the old-town street or access to a big terrace. They all have generous bathrooms with a bath, shower or both, and all the other modern necessities like wi-fi, air-conditioning, television, a safe and a hair dryer.

Estepona is a beautiful base for enjoying the Costa del Sol, and the old town is the ideal way to gain all the benefits of the coast without the more garish commercial excesses.

Meals

The self-service cafeteria at Casa Veracruz offers an eating area open 24 hours a day where guests can help themselves to coffee, teas, fresh fruit, mineral water, yogurts and a variety of  sweet pastries at no cost.

For other meals, there is a multitude of bars and restaurants in the area, with menus to suit all tastes and all pockets.

Veracruz. Beautifully decorated, with shower, bath and hand painted tiles. It has a stately balcony with beautiful views of the tower and steeple of Iglesia de los Remedios.

Estebbuna. Has a large dressing room and two single beds of 0.90m  each, with the alternative of forming a wide bed of 1.80m.

Patio. Ancient inner chamber on the ground floor, a comfortable bedroom with bathroom and dressing room.

Cordoba. An old barn has been transformed into a comfortable bedroom with bathroom and large windows, adapted for people with reduced mobility. Twin beds or a large double. It noted for its large and beautiful hand-painted picture of an Arabic temple door.

Susana. Nicely decorated with a shower, bath and hand painted tiles. It has a balcony overlooking a crossroads of streets decorated with flowers. There is a special stone wall from the old 17th century convent of Our Lady of Remedies.

Ronda. Another old room at street level with a high ceiling, whirlpool bath and the remains of an ancient wall, beautifully exposed.

Carmin. Beautiful room, with bathroom with shower, and hand-painted tiles. It has a balcony overlooking Veracruz Street, opposite the Brotherhood of Santo Cristo de la Vera Cruz, Lord of Estepona.

Sierra Bermeja. Attic bedroom with terrace and bathroom, with its own character. It has lovely views of the old town and the Sierra Bermeja.

Isabelina. Very spacious, with more than 50 square metres on two floors, with bathroom, large terrace (40 square metres) overlooking the old town, the Church of the Remedies and a jacuzzi. It is the flagship room, ideal to relax and enjoy the sun and views.

Sofia. Beautifully decorated junior suite, with a bedroom decorated with gold leaf details and bathroom with jacuzzi-bath, overlooking the old town and the church of Remedios.
