La Casa is an award-winning family-run hotel and restaurant situated in the traditional white-washed Andalucian village of Torrox Pueblo, just 40 minutes drive east of Malaga airport. It is well located close to glorious beaches, hills and mountains, plus bars, restaurants and other places of interest. La Casa voted Travellers Choice Hotel 2011 by independent travellers and 'Primero Hotel de Torrox 2010' awarded by the office of Tourism.
Hotel La Casa offers comfort and charm with a real commitment to deliver a high quality of service in a relaxed and friendly environment. Right by the dining room is a nice little atrium courtyard, a lovely little spot for breakfast in the morning or sipping a quiet drink at any time of the day. The emblem of La Casa though is the large sun terrace with breathtaking views across to the Tejeda mountains and valley. For some extra shade, there is another sitting area under the 100 year-old grapevine.
The eight rooms and one suite are individually designed, modern and contemporary with Egyptian cotton bed linen, stylish en-suites with dual showers and large picture windows with stunning mountain and village views. The suite has it's own lounge and private terrace. Each room is decorated with original artwork, and if you really take a fancy to a painting in your room, they are available for purchase!

Reviews
Reviews from Little Hotels Travellers:
This hotel is a hidden gem. The owners, Sarah, Neil and Karen were so kind and helpful and we could not fault the hotel in any way. The village of Torrox is just perfect. |
Great little hotel run by Neil and Sarah - lovely couple, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room with a great view. Beautifully decorated hotel throughout with a nice terrace. We will return. |
This is very small but pleasant and stylish boutique hotel, owned and run by a British family who gave us a very cheery welcome. Very good views from the bedrooms and the terrace. We mainly booked to have somewhere reasonably close to Malaga airport but far enough away from the coast and resorts and in that sense it worked well. But we also found that Torrox and its nearby neighbour Frigiliana were worth a visit in their own right. The hotel is located in a typical narrow Andalacian village lane, so loading and unloading luggage is a challenge but it all added to the fun and experience of the visit. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel but from what we saw it looked good. |
The hotel was very nice and owner very hospitable. Rooms very well appointed, only quaint thing was that no bathmat or hand towels were provided.
It was a pity that our two nights coincided with the restaurant being closed as would liked to have sampled the food. Breakfast simple but fresh and tasty.
General decor of hotel was lovely and a lot of thought and money obviously been spent on it. Would highly recommend. |

We Say
La Casa = "The House", and Hotel La Casa really does have the feel of a large Spanish family house in a traditional Spanish village. The view is fantastic.
A Word from the Owner
We chose the establish our hotel here because of the stunning views and it's ideal location, offering visitors the opportunity to experience a typical Andalucian village, whilst at the same time not compromising on the popular beach holiday. The hotel interior is "boutique" in style with original artworks and sculptures and our aim is to offer guests comfort within beautiful surroundings with a relaxed & friendly ambience. Our house is your house for the duration of your stay, and we look forward to welcoming you back time and time again.
