The Hotel Las Islas is a rare opportunity to be close to all the activity of the Costa del Sol yet not amongst it. A short distance inland from the beaches, the surroundings of the hotel are quite peaceful and with only twelve rooms, each guest is an individual and not just a number.
Las Islas is set in a garden of palm trees and tropical plants. Each guest room looks onto the swimming pool and terrace and many also have views down the hill to the coast. All the rooms are individually decorated and equipped with air conditioning and satellite television, and each has a small terrace and private bathroom. It's a nice touch that guests are offered a complimentary drink on arrival, and there is always a bottle of water in each room.
It's a fifteen or twenty minute walk to the nearest beach, and just a little further will take you into the centre of town. This stretch of the coast offers all manner of attractions, beaches, golf courses, bars and restaurants of course, but also Fuengirola Zoo, Benalmadena Sea World, Tivoli Park and the Picasso Museum.
A lively holiday on the Costa del Sol doesn't have to be noisy; just retreat to the lovely environment of Las Islas.
Double Room
Light, bright rooms with a dash of colour. Very elegant. All rooms have a private balcony and face the lush sub-tropical gardens with several rooms having views of the sea.
The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries from Molton Brown.
Free WiFi is available in all rooms.
Meals
The Fairuz restaurant is a very important part of Las Islas: a place renowned locally for its Spanish Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine. Meals are served in the restaurant, by the pool, or for a more intimate dinner, at a table in the garden. The restaurant is open for lunch every day and for dinner every day except Sunday.

Reviews
Reviews from Little Hotels Travellers:
We found this hotel on the web by chance and 'Lady Luck' was obviously smiling on us! Twenty minutes from the airport by taxi and we arrived into an oasis of calm, care and friendliness, gentle music playing and a generous and warm welcome from the staff and owner. We stayed six nights, eating in every night to be able to try the varied cuisine and the continental style breakfasts were as big or small as you chose. Our room was not vast but had everything we wanted. A twenty minute walk downhill to the Fuengirola promenade takes you into a different but not unpleasant world; the walk back uphill is manageable but hard work if it is very warm. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a few days 'off planet'! |
We had a most wonderful time at Las Islas. The hotel was beautiful and the staff and Omar were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. It really was a little piece of heaven and we will certainly be going back.

We Say
The Costa Del Sol has so much to offer, but sometimes you need to step back into a more peaceful retreat. The lovely garden of Las Islas is that retreat.
