Description
Hotel La Mozaira is situated among fields just one kilometre from the nearest sandy beach, and eight kilometres from the centre of Valencia. The opportunities for sightseeing and relaxation are endless. The hotel is in a large farmstead that was recently completely renovated to provide accommodation of an extremely high standard. It's hard to remember that you are this close to the city while relaxing by the pool, gently bathed in orange-blossom perfume and the ozone of the Mediterranean Sea.
Gardens surround the hotel and pool, and market gardens extend beyond, being one of the most fertile and productive areas of Spain. Indoors the lounge has its own library, and there is a bar and restaurant.
The eleven guest rooms are all named after the various strong women who have cared out the tradition of La Mozaira since the 18th century. Style, comfort and tradition are the hallmarks which characterize all the rooms. They are spacious, perfectly presented and each has a full en-suite bathroom. The attention to detail is demonstrated by the choice of pillows according to the guest's own preferences.

Meals
Situated as it is amongst the market gardens of Valencia, the restaurant at La Mozaira is dedicated to the best dishes of the region. Ingredients come from the hotel's own land or the farms nearby so freshness is assured.
Traditional Valencian dishes like paella and arroz negra will delight the palate, and there is much more besides.
Out and About
Beaches. There are 4 km of sandy beaches in Alboraya, ranging from deserted to just busy enough to have some facilities. More beaches extend up and down the coast.
Walking and cycling. Tour the "Huerta de Valencia" and breathe in the richness of the region: mills, thatched cottages, hermitages.
Watersports. The Marina Sa Playa is just one kilometre away.

A stunning reformed farmhouse in the Valencian countryside. |
| We have just returned from a wonderful stay at La Mozaira hotel in Alboraya near Valencia. What a lovely tranquil place to be! The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated by Pepe and his wife Toni to a very high standard, the furnishings and the colours are so tasteful and restful. It is surrounded by very pretty, colourful well tended gardens and has delightfully relaxing music around the place. We had 3 meals there and all were very good quality. The owners and the staff were amazing and go above and beyond what is required. We had a problem with our hire car and they helped us enormously and for that we were very grateful. In fact the whole atmosphere is more like a big family and it was a truly wonderful place to be. We would definitely like to return. |
| La Mozaira is a very special place where the friendly and helpful service really made our stay special. The hotel, a converted farmhouse which took 4 years to make-over is beautifully furnished and our room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Everyone at reception went out of their way to help us, suggesting places to visit in the area, giving us maps of Valencia and showing us film clips of places other guests had enjoyed. The breakfasts were large, with options for cooked eggs alongside the fruit plates, ham, cheese, warm bread, cakes and croissants. You must try the Horchata from the hotel served semi-fredo and delicious at the end of a hot day. Evening meals served outside were delicious but rather nouvelle cuisine. It is very conveniently located for exploring Valencia, only 6km away and a very easy car ride. Hotel highly recommended. |
