Deep in the heart of Ibiza, Las Mariposas is a traditional Casa Rural, charmingly refurbished as a boutique rural hotel. It offers the peace and relaxation of a 19th century Ibizan farmhouse in an authentic and original setting.
All around there are olive, carob and almond trees, and the beautiful garden is an oasis. The centrepiece is the large swimming pool and terraces, but there also plenty of nooks and crannies to settle down quietly with a book in peace and solitude. Breakfasts are generally served out-of-doors but there is a delightful salon for anyone wanting some inside space.
The guest rooms reflect the rustic origins of Las Mariposas, but they don’t skimp on modern comforts. Quiet country charm is the ongoing theme, with quirky bathrooms providing large walk-in showers. The suites are mini-apartments with a small kitchen area as well as the addition of an ample living room. All rooms have their own private outside space with a couple of chairs and space for sun or shade. The unique junior suite has the addition of a private hot-tub.
Las Mariposas' strategic location between San Antonio and Ibiza Town, allows you to dip into the wild parties that made the island famous. Most guests though are more content to enjoy the quieter things in life, whether they stay close to the hotel for a peaceful rural setting or venture out to the a beach and choose between lively or remote.

Double rooms are decorated in the original spirit of the Casa Rural, twith the essence of the real Ibiza. Wooden beams, old doors and rough walls reflect an ancient charm.

Junior Suite
The highlight of the one junior suite is a private outdoor jacuzzi, where you can chill during the day or relax under the stars at night. It boasts a large private terrace for sunbathing in complete privacy surrounded by nature.

The suites are spacious studio apartments, perfect when you are looking for more privacy and comfort. Their kitchen corner and living area make them completely independent and allow you to fully enjoy the beauty of the Ibiza countryside. The large private terrace ensures privacy and is perfect to relax surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Everything is beautifully cared for, and combines comfort with tradition, all surrounded by a delightful garden.
A magnificent location lost in nature, so it seems impossible that the centre of town is only a few minutes away.
The service is unbeatable, and from the very first moment our stay was a pleasure. Without hesitation I must recommend the breakfast which is homemade, prepared with such care, and made sure we always started the day with a smile. |
