La Llave de la Judería Hotel is made up of three houses renovated with a maximum of respect for authenticity and their history. The hotel is located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter of Córdoba, and charming jumble of old houses and narrow alleys. It’s the perfect place to experience the city that was once the centre of the Moorish Caliphate of Al-Andalus.

When you settle in the beautiful Louis XV-style Sala del Rey for a glass of wine, you are following in the footsteps of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain.

The Patio del Pozo is bathed in natural light and is decorated with many pieces of typical Cordoban craftsmanship. It retains original architectural features from the past life of the house that make this area truly unique. It’s a good place to read while absorbing the relaxing sound of the fountain or choose it as the place to have breakfast.

The Patio del Olivo is undoubtedly one of the most important places in the hotel. Pride of place goes to the olive tree of Baena, a gift from the renowned journalist Tico Medina to the owner of the house. In addition to the famous olive tree there is a mosaic dating from  Roman times found during the restoration of the house. This courtyard is full of personality and an ideal space for a coffee, to organise your sightseeing for the day or simply to let time run through your fingers because you can.

You may need to ask a member of staff to help you find the Hidden Terrace. This is the spot to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets as the sun falls on the minaret of the former mosque, the current cathedral tower.

Like people, each room is different and unique. They are decorated and cared for with all the love that gives them their charm. Fully equipped, they are bright and spacious, with some very special pieces in a classical style. There is air-conditioning, a safety deposit box, flat-screen television and an en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries.

With its location right in the city of Córdoba, everything is within walking distance: the Mosque, the Roman bridge, the Royal Stable, the Alcazar de Los Reyes Cristianos, the Calahorra Tower and so much more besides.
