Villa Nazules Hipica Spa
, Ctra. Almonacid a Chueca, s/n, Almonacid de Toledo.
Just 10 minutes from the city of Toledo, Villa Nazules is a unique spa hotel set amidst olive groves. The contemporary form of the buildings is attenuated by the natural materials within, to create a hotel of both luxury and beauty. Visitors come to see the famous city, to relax and recharge in the spa, or to enjoy the facilities of the equestrian centre.
The main part of the hotel looks out onto an extensive terrace, then to the garden, then to the swimming pool, and finally to the infinite views across the Spanish meseta. Set in open country, there is no shortage of space for the gardens, pool, tennis court, paddle court and car park.
Inside Villa Nazules, the design is most definitely modern, yet never stark; the use of natural stone and wood see to that. There is plenty of room to sit and relax, and the cafeteria-bar offers drinks and snacks at most times.
Guest bedrooms continue the design theme. The choice of standard, Special or Gold rooms is largely a matter of space. They all share the essential features though: a balcony or terrace, plasma TV, internet, minibar, etc, etc.
The wellness centre and spa are an important part of Villa Nazules. Numerous packages are available offering combinations of thermal pool, vitality pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, scented shower, Scottish shower, various massages and a gymnasium. The decor is a calming, soothing blend of glass, light and water. The abundant choice of traditional massages, world massages and beauty treatments exceeds anything we have ever seen elsewhere.
Right next door to the hotel is the San José Equestrian Centre, equipped with the most modern facilities for the enjoyment of riding and everything related to the world of horses.
Meals
The Mar de Olivos restaurant is an important and integral part of Villa Nazules, with dining to a high standard that complements the other luxuries of the hotel. Chef Gabriel Cervantes creates an exquisite cuisine that combines Mediterranean flavours with the best traditional recipes from Castilla-La Mancha. There is an a la carte menu, table d'hote and a tasting menu for those who are undecided.
Alongside the restaurant, lighter meals are available through the day in the snack bar.
