Casa Pedro Barrera is a 300 year-old farmhouse set in 20,000m² of almond groves and fruit trees, not far from the city of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Sierra Espuña national park. The hotel boasts just five bedrooms, each with it's own personal sitting area. The deluxe suites are especially spacious with El Olivo in particular extending to a massive 60m².
The ample garden has a large swimming pool surrounded by a sun-bathing terrace with sunbeds and shades. This garden is also the ideal place to take breakfast on a warm sunny morning. The outdoor kitchen there can also be used for al fresco lunches and dinners.

It has been a pleasure visiting your house, in which we spent the summer holidays in my childhood, together with my parents, Pedro Barrera and Teresa Lopez Clu00facheis, with my brothers and the rest of the family. I love the way you have preserved the place, modest, the way my parents were. From Maru00eda-Josu00e9 Barrera, daughter of the celebrated Pedro Barrera (bullfighter). |
We have enjoyed our stay in this quiet, rural landscape, which is very beautiful. The hosts, Martyn and Denise, with their superb meals, have completed our stay. |
A haven of peace, quietness an excellent retreat, without forgetting the superb cuisine (your orange marmalade is great!) Thank you, and see you soon, I hope, for another holiday. |
Beautifully renovated Cortijo surrounded by almond groves - what a beautiful place! With only 5 bedrooms it was quiet and relaxing with a lovely pool area and the owners were very attentive providing afternoon tea by the pool. The food in the evening was excellent and freshly cooked and we all had a great time. |
