The Hotel La Moraleja seems like a well-kept secret, tucked away in beautiful Cala San Vicente on the rugged northern tip of Mallorca. The hotel has 22 rooms in total, most of them Junior Suites which have generous sitting areas and large terraces overlooking the impressive views. There is also an even more impressive Penthouse Suite and the Grand Suite which includes two bedrooms.
Relaxation and serenity come as standard in a garden and terrace with two swimming pools, one with heating which extends the swimming season into May and October. Parts of the ample terraces can be not just your sun-bathing area but your breakfast room or your dining room too, as the restaurant continues outside. For a light snack or refreshment in between meals there is the bar-café which also specialises in cocktails and their own brand of G&T. Finally there is the spa centre with jacuzzi, massage room and sauna, offering various therapy treatments.
When you go indoors, the luxury continues unabated with broad hallways and an elegant lounge. Throughout the hotel there is a large collection of artworks on display, all originals by celebrated French and Spanish artists. If that’s not enough, there is also a separate display of classic sportcars from the 50s to the 70s, picked from the owner’s private collection.
Although it’s hard to tire of the beauties of the hotel and Cala San Vicente, there is plenty more to visit and explore close by. The northern extremity of the island is amazing, with the massive rocky promontory of Formentor falling sheer into the blue Mediterranean. Meanwhile a short drive down the north-west coast offers mountains, coastline and seascapes in abundance. For a pleasingly quiet way to while away an evening in town, Pollensa is right nearby and finally the long sandy beaches of Pollensa and Alcudia are another short hop further on.
Superior Double Room
Decorated in classical style with luxury details, these spacious double rooms measure between 30 and 50 square metres and boast beautiful views over the pools, gardens and mountains.
For up to two people, the rooms provide a large furnished terrace and a full range of services including a flat-screen TV, safe for a laptop, full minibar, free coffee and tea service, air-conditioning and heating, and Wi-Fi.
Balcony Suite
The bright and spacious Balcony Suites feature 60 square metres of luxurious, functional space to guarantee relaxation and comfort. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the private balcony and the elegance of the classical furniture.

Meals
Breakfast is served in the Bistro restaurant. It can also be taken on the poolside terrace or on your own private terrace or balcony.
The Bistro restaurant and bar serves selected traditional and international dishes, along with a refreshing drink or a sophisticated cocktail. Extensive menu with local dishes and typical Spanish specialities. There is also a light snack menu for lunch.
The Cristal Restaurant at La Moraleja allows guests to enjoy the finest gourmet experiences. Open two days a week and offering a five-course tasting menu accompanied by Mallorcan wines and other wines and spirits from the best international bodegas.
