Farewell Andy and Pauline

It was over 30 years ago that we first came across the Molino del Santo, when we stayed there with our (then) young family. We were enchanted by the location, the gardens, the people and the whole concept of staying in a hotel so small that the staff knew our names and our favourite tipples in next to no time.

That stay at Molino del Santo was a major factor in the decision to create Little Hotels. And like Andy and Pauline, we haven't looked back since. We really can't thank them enough for that.

Back when it all began, there was no tourism at all in Benaoján so the launch of a new hotel was a big venture. Now, after 35 years at the helm, Andy and Pauline are finally retiring and handing over the reins to new manager Ricardo. So while some things will be changing, plenty more will stay the same. The spirit of the hotel and restaurant will be just as it's always been and the same staff will be working under the new management.

Andy and Pauline will continue to live in their house within the grounds so they're sure to pop along to the bar every now and then, and will be delighted to meet with past guests from previous years. We wish them a happy retirement and are confident that Ricardo and his team will continue to nurture their “baby”.
