Cas Ferrer Nou Hotelet
, Carrer Pou Nou, 1, Alcudia.
At first sight the exterior of Cas Ferrer Nou Hotelet is attractive. Step inside though, and it is so much more. You find a tiny exclusive hotel that is a prime example of avant gard design. It is, quite simply, stunning.
Situated in the heart of the old town of Alcudia, Nou Hotelet was once the local blacksmiths. Today it provides its small number of lucky guests (only six rooms, remember) with a haven of comfort in a cosmopolitan atmosphere that will entrance you with the Mediterranean spirit of life.
Throughout the house there is a sense of calm and well-being. The precise sense of design harmoniously blends the natural stone walls with simple modern shapes and colours. Each of the guest rooms is inspired by one of the ancient centres of the Mediterranean, including Pollentia the Roman city whose remains can be seen nearby. One of the rooms is accessible for a disabled person.
Alcudia is a fabulous centre for a holiday in Mallorca, with easy access to miles of sandy beaches, rocky calas and cool mountains. There is an abundance of bars and restaurants nearby if you want them, yet you can easily retreat into your own world of peace and serenity. This can be further augmented by the massages and treatments available in the Auca Health Spa next to the hotel.
Meals
No restaurant. Breakfasts can be taken "In" or "Out". In, either in the bar or the lounge. Out, on the patio. At Nou Hotelet breakfasts are prepared and presented with the same care that many restaurants reserve for their dinners.

Reviews from Little Hotels Travellers:
We've just arrived back from our 7 nights at the Cas Ferrer Nou Hotelet in Alcudia. The room (Pollentia) was perfect, the breakfasts were excellent (we were even provided with a 'picnic' breakfast for the one day we needed to leave before breakfast officially started), and Maria was very helpful - she provided general information about Alcudia and various tourist activities and destinations in the vicinity, and also helped with reconfirmation of our return transfer to Palma airport. We used a couple of the books in the hotel library (one for walks in the vicinity, and one about restaurants in Majorca) which enhanced our holiday. The hotel has great design and a lovely atmosphere and we hope we can arrange a return visit. |
Here's What Some People Have Written On Other Review Sites or in the Guestbook:
I have just spent an unforgettable weekend in the Hotel Cas Ferrer Nou in Alcudia. It's a place with a very special atmosphere, cutting-edge design, and best of all, unbeatable service and attention. Congratulations. |
Delivers the wow factor when you walk into the old building to discover a designer boutique style interior. We had silk petals scattered on our mosquito-netted bed, which led out onto a terrace - with steps heading up to the roof-top terrace. Well appointed and fitted out. |
